GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACT:
GENERAL GUIDELINES

Abstract must be submitted in English, typed in Microsoft Word, Times New Roman, and font size 12. The title should be typed in upper case and should contain no more that 70 characters, including spaces. It should be printed within space provided in the abstract form. Use single line spacing throughout the abstract. Write numbers as numerals, except at the beginning of sentences. Avoid abbreviations.

The abstract should be informative, containing (a) specific aims & objectives, (b) methods, (c) results, (d) discussion & (e) conclusions of the study. For case reports introduction, case report and discussion. If the abstract pertains to an experimental topic or a clinical trail, state clearly the hypothesis being tested, describe quantitatively the experimental subject and statistical data used. Statements such as “results will be discussed” are not acceptable. Check the abstract thoroughly for spelling, grammar and content since it will go to the press verbatim, without editing.
Underline and bold the name of the presenting author. This should be followed by the names of co-authors, along with the department institution, city & email of the presenting author. Rest of the abstract text should not exceed 250 words.
- Certificate of presentation will be given to the presenting author only.
Please also mention whether you would be willing to present your paper as a poster, if the paper is not accepted for oral presentation.
- Please fill a separate abstract form for each paper to be presented. The form may be photocopied if more than one abstracts are being submitted.
Abstracts, which do not conform to the guidelines, shall not be considered for presentation.
- Abstracts should be preferably be submitted on the website. Alternatively, you may send the abstract form by post along with information on a floppy/CD. The floppy/CD should be labeled with presenting author’s name. You can also send the abstract details by e-mail. Abstract without a soft copy will not be accepted
Acknowledgement and notification: The presenting author will be sent an acknowledgement for the abstract. If you do not receive an acknowledgement of the abstract. The list of accepted papers will be displayed on the website, and the letter of acceptance shall be mailed to the presenting author after <date>
- Final decision regarding acceptance of paper will rest with the Chairman, Scientific Committee.
